Administrator

Accountable to: Metex Directors

Location: Gaerwen, Anglesey

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday; 8:30am – 5pm (potential for part time/ flexible hours or job share)

Salary: £23K+ per annum (pro rata for part time)

You’ll provide general and sales admin support to the Metex team promoting Metex products and dealing with customer enquiries as our first point of contact. You’ll check, quote for and process orders, raise quotations and liaise with our customers, working alongside the warehouse despatch team to ensure customers receive the right Metex products, in good condition and on time.

Salary: Starting on £23K with the potential to rise to £25K for a really organised, efficient and dynamic Administrator!

Holidays: You’ll get 23 days (Including bank holidays) plus we like to shut down for 5 days over Christmas so everyone gets a break at the same time. Which means you’ll get a total of 28 paid days leave each year.

Pension: We invest in the NEST pension scheme for our employees (you’ll be auto enrolled if you meet the government requirements)

Training: Dan and Dan, our Directors are hands on and are really experienced in sales, logistics, business administration, product design and engineering (to name but a few of their skills). They personally invest their time to develop and grow every member of the team so that Metex and its team can thrive. Flexibility: We’re a small team at Metex so we need to work together at the right times to get things done, but if you want some flexibility (and we’re able), we will be flexible with your hours, we’ll just need to talk it through to see what can work for us both.

Culture: We are a small and hardworking team at Metex, and often have to deal with tight deadlines to make sure our customers get what they need on time. But we are also a relaxed placed to work where shirts and ties are not often seen and it’s certainly not all hard work. Last year the team took some time out to have some fun white water rafting in Bala. (Wetsuit wearing is not mandatory if you do come to work at Metex!!)
