+ Technical

Metex are well known for producing high quality, long lasting tools for the sector. We work with some of most respected material suppliers and installers of flowing concrete and liquid screed in the UK.

Dapple Bars

Metex liquid screed dapple bars are manufactured from light weight aluminium and then fully powder-coated. They range  in size from 900mm to 3000mm. We also supply fully powder coated mild steel dapple bars for flowing concrete. Dapple bars help screeders & groundworkers release air bubbles and achieve a smooth finish when laying free-flowing self-levelling liquid screeds, and also lightly break the surface tension for a more durable,  accurate and consistent finish when laying self-compacting concrete. Ideal for use with Topflow, Belitex, Cemfloor, Agilia, Breedonflow Form, Cemflow, Highflow and many more.

Screed Tripods

Metex fully welded stainless steel & mild steel tripods are part of our range of screed & concrete levelling tools. They are used by screeders & groundworkers to achieve a level finish when pouring liquid screed and flowing concrete.

Place the screed tripods at 1m to 2m intervals across a site. Then using a laser level adjust the height of each tripod in accordance with your datum point to achieve a level finish when pouring self-levelling liquid screed or self-compacting concretes from Tarmac, Breedon, Aggregate Industries and many more.

Flow Testing

We supply robust stainless-steel flow cones & flow plates for slump testing. This equipment is used by screeders to determine the flowability/slump of free-flowing, self-levelling liquid screeds such as Gyvlon, Breedonflow Screed, Isocrete, Supaflo and many more.

Spazzles and Concrete Placers

Our high-quality, lightweight spazzles and Texas concrete placers make it easier for groundworkers to place and grade large volumes of concrete and a variety of loose materials. Ideal for levelling and manoeuvring self-compacting concrete, tarmac, asphalt etc, such as Agilia, Topflow, Breedonflow Form, Cemflow, Highflow, and many more.

Expansion and Control Joints

Movement expansion & control joints are part of the Metex range of self-levelling screed tools. These products are used by screeders to provide breaks and edges when laying free-flowing self-levelling liquid screeds from Cemex, Flowcrete, RTU and many more. We stock flexible expansion joints as well as vertical control joints.
