Customer Highlight – Hillarys & Thomas Sanderson

Our Corefix dot & dab wall fixings have been on the fixings market since 2017 and have accumulated some big-name customers during the last 5 years. As one example, they have lent themselves well to window furnishings! In this post we’d like to give a shoutout to two of our prominent Corefix users – Hillary’s Blinds and Thomas Sanderson. Both brands are owned by Hunter Douglas UK Retail Ltd and have a long history of supplying UK homeowners with bespoke blinds, curtains, awnings and shutters! 

Hillarys Blinds

After starting out as a one-man band supplying made-to-measure Venetian blinds in 1971, Tony Hillary’s business has grown from a garage in Nottingham to a large company with over 1500 employees and 1100 independent advisors across the UK, plus manufacturing facilities in Nottingham and Washington, Tyne and Wear, multiple showrooms, awards and designer collaborations. Their installers operating across the UK have been using our Corefix fixings since 2018! 

Hillarys now supplies a wide range of made-to-measure blinds, curtains, shutters and garden awnings in a variety of materials, colours and patterns. And if you’re lacking ideas, their website and social media feeds have plenty of inspiration!

Thomas Sanderson

Since starting out in 1991, Thomas Sanderson have developed expertise and knowledge in design and manufacturing of bespoke window furnishings, and now supply premium blinds, curtains and shutters for even the most complex window designs. Their window furnishings are designed exactly to the customer’s needs after consultation, manufactured in house, and installed by expert installers, who have been using Corefix fixings for the last 4 years.  

Thomas Sanderson’s product range includes innovative Duette blinds designed to stop heat escaping, and a vibrant range of shutters created in collaboration with high-fashion interiors experts Harlequin. Their products have also been featured in publications including Country Living, Homes & Gardens, Period Living and Country Life!
